Training News: New Training Rates
Happy New Year! Another year is here and it is time to organize, prepare and plan for the upcoming months and your training needs. We, here at Child Care Resource & Referral, are excited to offer training that will meet your individual and/or center needs. Please be sure that you are aware of the following changes:
Training Costs:
Our training rates have changed; please make a note of them before sending in your training payment.
2 hour training per participant - $10.00
4 hour training per participant - $20.00
6 hour training per participant - $25.00
CPR & First Aid classes per participant - $40.00 for combination class
On-Site Training:
Due to the number of requests for on-site training, we now have the ability to assist with some of those needs. If you are considering on-site training for your staff, and have a minimum of 15 participants, please call Victoria Hawkins at (706)613-1603 ext. 225 and ask for an on-site training request form.
Training Tidbits
Spread those training hours out!
Without fail, the end of the year comes around and you are frantically searching for training that you have not already taken and a class that still has available spaces so that you can complete your training needs for the year. You may or may not succeed, but you swear that you are NOT going to do this again…so whatever your annual training needs may be, try establishing a goal to train a little bit at a time.
Make it a point to take training on a monthly basis, or maybe a couple of classes in each quarter. Spreading your training out gives you time to learn new information, and to apply it. Then before you know it, you will not only have all 10 hours, but you’ll be ahead of the game and not completely stressed out trying to cram all your hours into the last three months of the year. If you would like to have someone sit down with you and assist you with planning your individual and/or staff training needs, please call Victoria Hawkins at (706)613-1603 ext. 225.
